Investigation of the origin and cause, nature, and extent of damage to a vessel.

Pre-purchase Marine Survey (Buyer):

Inspection of the vessel to assess the condition and Fair Market Value.

Insurance and Valuation Surveys (Owner):

Inspection of the vessel at the request of the Insurance Underwriter or Lender to assess the vessel’s risk and Fair Market Value.

Marine Engine Diagnostics Scan (Buyer or Owner):

Analysis and reporting of information from the engine’s built-in computer system.

Outboard Engine Compression Testing (Buyer or Owner):

Assessment of the compression of each individual cylinder of an outboard engine.

Oil Sample Analysis (Buyer or Owner):

Oil analysis can be a valuable tool to assess the condition of machinery, alert the owner to impending problems, and assist in developing the best solutions.

      My credentials and experience

      I am an Accredited Marine Surveyor, AMS #1415, with the Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors, an American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) Certified Marine Corrosion Advisor, ABYC Certified Marine Electrical Advisor and ABYC Certified Standards Technician, and a licensed insurance adjuster in Florida and Minnesota

      I graduated as Valedictorian of my class at Chapman School of Seamanship Yacht and Small Craft Surveying and have advanced training in Marine Diesel Engines and Marine Claims Investigation.

      My undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering and Graduate Degree in Biophysical Sciences equip me with the skills required to understand sophisticated vessel systems and new marine technology.
